Background
FruitStreet is a venture-backed telehealth company focused on preventing diabetes by promoting healthy eating and weight loss. The company uses both mobile and web applications to offer users a tailored array of diet, health and wellness programming, chiefly consisting of 1-on-1 sessions and larger group classes.
Process
Our software engineering support team assisted in several crucial ways:
We built out the infrastructure that is currently used to manage their web application and support their mobile applications. We migrated more than 8GB of data from FruitStreet’s previous hosting company onto their own cloud databases, which are backed up at regular intervals and monitored around the clock.
Third-Party Integrations
We incorporated crucial third-party integrations that collectively helped maximize FruitStreet’s marketability, user experience, and overall customer satisfaction and have proven to be integral in growing and sustaining their services and offerings. incorporating crucial third-party integrations. We made it possible for FruitStreet to offer their classes and sessions over Zoom. We integrated Quickblox for an intuitive in-class chat feature. We updated their integrations with Fitbit, making it possible to manage user health data and measure client progress in real-time.
Existing Web and Mobile Application Maintenance
We maintained FruitStreet’s existing web and mobile applications, fixing the bugs and other issues that inevitably arise as they introduce new features, functionality and integrations.
Incorporating New Features in Existing Application
We made enhancements to the existing application that stabilized its performance and prolonged its long-term functionality. One noteworthy improvement was incorporating a pre-qualifying quiz into the application. This quiz improved the onboarding process by providing integrated logic. Based on the users answers to the quiz, the integration automated the process of determining whether or not to accept users into the program, and grouped and sorted accepted towards programming and offerings relevant to their circumstances and unique needs and interests.
